These are a few spooky love vibes I sold as cards this year. Enjoy.
I've been playing with a few versions of this winged creature, seen holding a heart, asking questions, just visiting in the night.....both in screen prints and block prints. I would love to paint them on a larger scale so that might be a future project if time/space permit. I have been thinking about spooky childhood games like light as a feather and party games like truth or dare and how I've kept these principal themes into adulthood.
Are you going to be brave and dare? Are you going to be brave and hear the truth? Are you going to just hide in darkness? I'm working through some stuff but it is coming out cute and I'm grateful for that. I really like these designs and look forward to wearing a truth or dare tshirt myself. A lot of these pieces I plan to sell at the upcoming Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Minneapolis in May 2024.
