Natural Elements Solo Show

After spending time recently in the Pacific Northwest / British Columbia, I'm even more in love with trees and the elements found in that region.  I'll be exhibiting selected works reflecting my affinity for nature and appreciation of the natural environment; elebrating the largest trees and the smallest insects, and everything in between.

Research Trip.... Anticipating a Working Vacation

I have been inspired by great forests, first nation artwork, wild animals and wilderness themes for years....and finally I am going to experience first hand the old growth forests of the Pacific Northwest.  I can't wait to see how the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and other influences of my upcoming travel are reflected in future new artwork.  Stay tuned!

Fruit Bowl

Shout out to Chad Mize / Mize Gallery for including me in a fun summer group show!
My inspiration was PINEAPPLE --I love the star pattern i see in the outside of the fruit not to mention it makes a tasty snack...and you can grow the tops in your yard ...

American Stage Collaboration

I was fortunate to have an opportunity to collaborate with the creative crew at American Stage as part of their "We The People" series.  I provided elements for the poster design for the production of "Strait of Gibraltar" and then during the run of the play I had a small solo exhibition of works in their lobby.  People were very generous and received my artwork quite warmly.  Part of the partnership also included my making a piece inspired by the play that was donated to the theatre to be auctioned in support of their programming. That was the biggest challenge for me but it turned out quite nice.
