Recent work...

 

Noticing some very springy colors in my recent work...after a long winter it is only natural to want to add something bright to the bold black linocuts...  inspired by my yard, plants, and also some older themes that deserved a new look.

Springing Forward

Still enjoying putting text in my images, these are a few of the latest I've been working on...  

 

 

These all start out as black and white compositions, but I often add color layers after the black ink has dried. I've been drawn to more simple, bold designs lately, not quite as intricate and busy as last year-- maybe because the world feels busy enough right now.

I'm excited to see how things shape up for this season of art festivals and pop-ups!

Dark Valentines for HEARTIZAAR

Been working on some valentine themed designs for the upcoming  HEARTIZAAR event in St. Pete in Febraury... I love the mix of sweet and spooky.
